"I polished the chicken with brown shoe polish. The grill marks on the chicken were done with a small propane blowtorch. Afterwards I covered it with glycerine to give it a juicy look and glued the herb twigs on the chicken. My assistent blew smoke through a straw on top of it to give it a dampening look."
